At the Greenhouse

Dad and Mom have spent several days helping out at Jason and Maren's greenhouse since our return from Florida. Come May, their help was even more needed as the pace of sales proved to only be helped by our world's precarious state rather than hurt like so many other small businesses (so sad for the others).

Hannah and I got join the forces two weekends in May. Our main task was nephew care with a little seeding, transplanting, and organizing selling tables on the side. We were well paid in smiles and cuteness.

With an extra day to gather strength for our drive home, our doctoring trips have come to include a mini vacation. Here are a few sights from our recent trip.

State Park Birthday

It is becoming a tradition to celebrate Hannah's birthday at a local state park. The evening was made beautiful with family, loon calls, good food, and mist as we left.

Bitty E

I painted my first portrait on Sunday. Bitty E sat very well for me and kept a remarkably natural countenance. (Yes, Hannah does name each of our many orchids.)

New Proverb

There ought to be a proverb about a tulip planted in autumn bringing joy in the spring.
