I Am Behind

Yes, very behind on blogging. For now let it suffice to say that keeping up with everyday life and moving forward on Hannah's and my Etsy shop while chelating heavy metals from my body, killing Lyme and fighting allergies has been a bit tough. Still I can gladly say, "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness" (Lamentations 3:22-23).

This morning is no exception. A hard night was followed by a gloriously crisp and sunshine filled morning. Mercies.

Liver Detox Tea


Nearly first thing when Hannah and I hit the kitchen floor every morning we brew a Liver Detox Tea.

2 T. roasted dandelion root
1 tsp. whole cloves
1 tsp. - 1 T. fennel seeds
3 cups freshly boiled water

Brew 5 minutes (or 10 if you are like me and prefer a stronger tea). Drink 1 cup right away. Save the other 2 cups to drink before dinner and supper (lunch and dinner, for you city folk). Pretend it is coffee* and smile.

*The darker the dandelion root roast, the more coffee-esque.
