Last fall a friend had a few more tomatillos from her garden than she could handle. Therefore, a nice little bunch ended up in our kitchen. As this was a new vegetable for us and our own garden harvest was keeping us busy, these tomatillos hung out in the fridge for a long while before being made into roasted salsa verde. A fun experiment with good results.
