Praise God

The Chronic Lyme road is long and hard, but today I walked to the end of our mile for the first time in six years. All I can say is, "Praise God from whom all blessings flow..."

Touring Away from Home

Our stay by the Mississippi was a rather wet one. With umbrellas in hand, we visited the local Catholic grounds, a stop worth making for a good dose of beauty.

In this age where the life of the unborn is under attack, it was refreshing to find this memorial to the unborn.

A depiction of the young Jesus of Nazareth, my Savior.

Home Away from Home

Our Airbnb home while doctoring is a bit of God's goodness to us.
- cleaned naturally (without chemicals that make us sick)
- surrounded by quaint gardens and flower pots
- room for the whole family when needed
- equipped with everything we need and more (including an espresso machine which we made good use of for the first time this year, as we are able to tolerate more caffeine)
- friendly landlady next door
- a comfortable distance from our doctors
- at the foot of the beautiful bluffs

Being a Tourist

Doctor appointments by the Mississippi River came around again last month. On the way down we took some time to be tourists and watched a barge make it's way through a local lock.
